About Mike:
Mike has been licenced for more than 40 years travelling the world extensively on commercial radio projects and Amateur Radio Dxpeditions.

He was one of the team that provided communications for the Camel Trophy Expeditions in remote parts of the world, including Sabah Malaysia, Argentina, Paraquay, Chile, Belize and El-Salvador.

In 1998 he was part of the JY7SIX team that put Jordan on 6 metres for the first time.

Mike is one of the founder members of F.S.D.X.A being given the Antenna "Kingdom" responsibilities for the 9M0C, D68C, and now 3B9C Dxpeditions.

He thrives on challenge specialising in the difficult LF bands (more than 238 countries worked on 160 metres) and 6 Metres - where he has worked stations via moonbounce.

These days he enjoys designing and air testing new antennas which are ultimately manufactured through his "Trident" branded antenna company.

Professionally Mike is the Managing Director of Nevada, a UK-based Amateur Radio and Distribution company.
