About Danny:
Danny started as a short wave listener when he was 14 years old. He then joined the Worthing and district amateur radio club in 1999, and started studying for the RAE (radio amateur’s examination). He passed the RAE in 2000 and was issued the call sign M1RAD; he then took the 12 WPM morse test in 2000, and was issued with the call sign M0GMT. Since that time he has specialised in high speed CW, and has derived great pleasure from improving his speed and skills.

He organised and partook in the DXpediton 2003 to Cambodia; here he was active with another young amateur as XU7ACT and XU7ACU.

Danny is an electrician and works for a large international electrical company in Sussex (England), there he specialises in electrical testing and inspection of installations.

Danny’s main interest is amateur radio CW although other interests include being a sherlockian, and a pipe collector; he has over 150 pipes in his collection.
